Hello!

In my free time I like to play tennis, netball and basketball and surfing. I like Math, Afrikaans, English and Social Science in school. I like to stay here because I am learning everything; no stealing, no swearing and to love each other and respect each other. 

Simone is the sweetest! She has a big heart and is always willing to help others. She recently has discovered her love for surfing and is always in the water. She had to grow up very quickly to take care of her siblings and grandfather at home. All the children in the community see her as an older sister and look up to her as a role model.

She loves teaching the girls how to read and do math problems. She works very hard in school and loves being at the library. She set standards for the other children and holds them accountable for the actions. She has been with The GLO House since 2018. She dreams of being a lawyer or teacher one day and with her grades there is nothing stopping her! We can’t wait to see where all Simone’s hard work takes her.
