Our Self-Sustainability Journey

Making our farm work for us!

We have transformed our farm into an eco-friendly area with loads of different fruit and vegetable gardens, chickens, goats, sheep, and pigs!

We plan on using our crops and animals to sustain ourselves in a household capacity as well as a means of generating an income by selling our organic harvests and animal products like our free range chicken eggs, goats milk, goats cheese and goats soap at local farmers markets.

The farm also provides a safe and healthy outlet for the children. They can heal through exploring and being surrounded by nature. They also learn about agriculture and entrepreneurship by being a part of this journey and hat is extremely important in today’s society in South Africa with the unemployment rates being so high.

Our long term goals are to be fully self-sustainable, to have horse therapy for the children and to run holiday programs with the surrounding communities to give them an education on agriculture and entrepreneurship.
